Poetry Workshop

This workshop is organized by author Lauren Hilger and meets once a month with the goal to encourage good conversation and a renewed sense of awe.

In this generative workshop, we will read poems, create new drafts, explore revision and how best to tell our stories. We will address contemporary poets and ancients, and each month will bring a different theme. There is no need to prepare by bringing any drafts or prior knowledge – we will learn together, generating new ideas and pages in a kind community setting. We welcome both new and lifelong poets, all writers, genres, and comfort levels. There is no better time to try.
