Film Discussion

The FRIEDA Film discussion group was first organized by Susan Pauls in 2017. We are happy that Coco Gang will volunteer her time for this monthly gathering on Wednesday afternoon.
Coco is a cinephile, originally from Andong, South Korea. She describes herself as a “global citizen” who landed 3,5 years ago in Philadelphia.
Each month, Coco will pick a movie from a different country; either an old classic or new movie.
Participants will watch the film beforehand at a movie theater (when ever possible together) or by streaming it at home.
The movie will be announced in the monthly newsletter and discussed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 3 pm at FRIEDA!

Session November 16: All that breathes by Shaunak Sen

Participants can watch the film this week at the Ritz at the Bourse (Tuesday at 4:00 pm or Wednesday at 6:00 pm, for more information click here) or stream it at home on HBO, just click here for more information.
Coco met the Film director during a film event in New York and is excited to share her thoughts and observations and compare notes with participants during a group meeting on November 16 at FRIEDA!
