FRIEDAcommunity has commissioned Madrid-based artist Mariano Martín to create 294 illustrations each capturing a special moment in FRIEDA / FRIEDAcommunity’s 10-year history of cultivating meaningful and memorable connections.
Visitors will be able to scan QR codes to discover the inspiration for these works.
All artwork is available for purchase and all proceeds support FRIEDAcommunity.
Mariano Martín is a Spanish artist, designer, and architect whose work blurs the line between disciplines. Mariano captures the poetry of everyday life through lines and color. For him, art is a way of seeing: walks, meals, conversations, and moments over coffee all become inspiration. Each drawing is an intuitive translation of feeling, gesture, sound, or movement—revealing a world just beneath the surface. His hand becomes a translator, allowing the unexpected to emerge.
Mariano’s work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, NGOs, and nightclubs, defying categorization.. Through his art, one can see his continuous search for meaning, guided by the belief that everything is easier—and more meaningful—with beauty.
