Join us for a hands-on “Make and Take” workshop led by artist Agathe Bouton. In this engaging session, participants will explore the technique of mono-printing. Agathe’s practice is informed by her many trips around the world, including her time in Burma, now Myanmar.
Agathe will guide you through a step-by-step demonstration of various printing techniques with gelli plates. These reusable printing plates are vegan-friendly, non-toxic, and come in different sizes that let you make monoprints without a large, expensive press.
You’ll learn how to layer textures, shapes, and colors to create unique greeting cards. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a set of greeting cards to take home. This is a fantastic opportunity for both beginners and seasoned artists to experiment with a fun, accessible printmaking process.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
