Turkish Cooking workshop &/or Dinner 11/12/24

Join Sara, Berke and David for a fun evening of a Turkish cooking and storytelling followed by dinner at FRIEDA.
You may choose to do (1) the cooking workshop followed by dinner, or (2) join for dinner only (no workshop).

 

A small group (up to 16) will participate in a cooking workshop.
Attendees will learn with a demonstration by Sara & Berke how to make Sigara Boregi (Filo Rolls) and Irmik Helvasi (Semolina halva).
Afterwards the participants will move to workstations to make their own Sigara Boregi to take and bake home (those can be frozen).
In the second part we will sit down and enjoy the evening with other guests.

 

Menu
The menu is inspired by the STUFFED character Kebab.
This dinner will be prepared in collaboration with Community members and Turkish home-cooks!
