Join us February 28 for the screening of Pianoforte, celebrating Chopin’s birthday (March 1, 1810).
Pianoforte, a film by Jakub Piątek is about the International Chopin Piano Competition where the world’s most talented young pianists compete in, held every five years in Warsaw, Poland.
Piatek’s documentary offers a rare behind the scenes look at the triumphant highs and crushing lows of the 2021 competition. Pianoforte is both a testament to the remarkable power of music and an intimate coming-of-age portrait.
