Lauren Hilger is the author of Lady Be Good (CCM, 2016) and Morality Play (Poetry NW Editions, 2022). Named a Nadya Aisenberg Fellow in poetry from MacDowell, she has also received fellowships from the Hambidge Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She has hosted a monthly workshop and reading series at FRIEDAcommunity in Philadelphia since 2016, and her work has appeared in BOMB, Harvard Review, Kenyon Review, The Threepenny Review, and elsewhere. She serves as a poetry editor for No Tokens.
A former New Yorker, Fredricka R. Maister is a memoirist/essayist now based in Philadelphia. Her personal essays and op-eds have appeared in a variety of publications, including The Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, Big Apple Parent, New York Jewish Week/The Times of Israel, The Forward, Philadelphia Jewish Exponent, The Writer, OZY, The Manifest-Station, and Broad Street Review. Fredricka (aka Ricki) is currently working on a book of personal essays relating to the death of her father when she was 12 years old and the murder of her long-time partner, Richard, 25 years later.
Grant Miller is an urban sci-fi author based in Hartford, Connecticut. He earned his bachelor’s in English with a creative writing concentration from Fairfield University in 2010 and has written five novels since then. Miller self-published the four-book Nephilim Chronicles in 2018 and is currently working on the Archangels Series; the first novel of which released in 2020.
Susanne Reece is a writer and illustrator who writes poetry and creative nonfiction, and makes comics, comics poetry, and visual essays. She holds an MFA in Visual Narrative from the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she teaches creative writing, comics poetry online for the continuing education department, and a foundational text and image course in the MFA program she graduated from. Originally from Texas, Susanne spent many years living in and around New York City. She is now based in Philadelphia.
Miriam Saperstein is a writer and mixed media artist originally from Metro Detroit and currently based in Philadelphia. Their art on divinity and decomposition can be found in ctrl + v, Pollux Journal, The String Magazine, and The Radical Jewish Calendar. Find them online or on Instagram @bitter_water_babe.
