Writing workshop with Lauren Hilger 2/11/23

Join us for a generative writing workshop where we will read poems, engage in conversation, and be led through immersive prompts. We welcome both new and lifelong poets – truly, no experience necessary, just bring a pen and notebook! You will come away with a few drafts, new ideas, and a renewed appreciation for poetry and the possibilities therein.

Lauren Hilger received a BA from New York University and an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She is the author of Lady Be Good (CCM, 2016) and Morality Play (Poetry NW Editions, Summer 2022). Named a Nadya Aisenberg Fellow in poetry from MacDowell, she has also received fellowships from the Hambidge Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her work has appeared in BOMB, Harvard Review, Kenyon Review, Pleiades, The Threepenny Review, West Branch, and elsewhere. She serves as a poetry editor for No Tokens.
