Group art exhibition, June 2 – August 28

The artistic representation of people, including in portraiture, has dramatically evolved over time. What was once almost exclusively reserved for the powerful and wealthy, has become a democratizing force in the world!

We have come a long way from ancient Egypt to photography, film and today’s instagram, Tik Tok, and the metaverse. Technology surely has changed the way people are depicted. This has been true for centuries, frequently raising questions about the worthiness of these artistic portrayals.

No matter the media, people remain [for artists, spectators, and bystanders] a primary source of fascination, inspiration and for some an obsession.
